The GRB Rays are excited to announce one of the most decorated players in Rays history is set to join the GRB Rays-Milwaukee staff. Rott, a former NCAA All-American was the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year for Ohio in both 2018 and 2019. In 2016, Rott was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team. After his senior season with the Bobcats, Rott was selected in the 9th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies and recently finished his career with the High-A Jersey Shore Blue Claws.

At Ohio, Rott is the career leader in hits (293), runs batted in (186), total bases (476) and ranks in the Top-10 in at-bats, homer runs, doubles and games played. Prior to his collegiate days at Ohio, the La Crosse, Wisconsin native was a member of the Rays organization for five years (2010-2014).

Rott will join a talented and experienced staff and will be instrumental in the continued growth of the GRB Rays-Milwaukee program working with the hitters, infielders and catchers and will be available for private instruction and group training in August.
