With college baseball steamrolling towards conference tournament action and Minor League Baseball getting underway, it was another busy week for Rays alumni. Former Rays had some of the best performances of the year this past week.Β  Below we will highlight some of the performances from this past weekend by former Rays players.

DANNY JANSEN homered in three-straight games for the Toronto Blue Jays over the weekend. Jansen hit the farthest homer of his career, a 448′ blast over the train tracks in Houston.

JEREN KENDALL hit his first homer of the year for Double-A Tulsa. The former 1st round pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers went 6-for-16 with five RBIs in Opening Week.

CADE BUNNELL hit a home run in his first game for Low-A Augusta (Atlanta Braves).

RUDY ROTT went 5-for-16 on the week for High-A Jersey Shore. Rott hit a double, triple and drove in four runs for the Philadelphia Phillies affiliate.

SCOTT SCHREIBER hit a home run and a triple while driving in three runs for Double-A Ashville (Houston Astros).

ALAN RODEN continued on one of the hottest stretches of anyone in the country. Roden went 5-for-7 in a doubleheader at Butler. The freshman hit two home runs, bringing his total to nine for the season. On the year, Roden is hitting a team-best .377 with 13 doubles and 44 RBIs.

DRAKE BALDWIN extended his hitting streak to 16 games going 6-for-19 on the week for Missouri State. During the streak, Baldwin has raised his batting average to .302 on the year. Fellow Rays alum WALKER JENKINS went 7-for-16 with a run scored and a stolen base.

A pair of former Rays picked up wins for Xavier in their weekend series with Seton Hall. ETHAN BOSACKER went 7.0 strong innings alowing only five hits and an earned run while striking out three. TREVOR OLSON earned the win on Saturday going 6.2 innings with two strikeouts. Olson now owns a 3.18 ERA on the year.

RILEY FREY threw 6.o innings scattering two hits while allowing a lone earned run with five strikeouts at Wright State. Frey now has a 2.60 ERA for Milwaukee and has 62.1 innings with 57 strikeouts. MARCUS CLINE went 3-for-11 with two runs, two doubles and two RBIs. THOMAS OTTO finished 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. ADAM LaROCK went 1-for-3 with and RBI and a run scored.

BEN CAREW had a stellar weekend for Kent State went 6-for-10 with a home run, two doubles and six runs scored in the Golden Flashes weekend set at Akron. NICK ELSEN went 1-1 with a double.

ZACH GILLES went 4-for-11 with three runs scored and a double for Central Michigan as the Chippewas split with Ball State to remain in a one-game lead for the top of the MAC. GRANT FRAZER earned the save on Saturday.

ALEC TRELA homered in two of the four ball games for Memphis bringing his season total to nine.

REAGAN KLAWITER extended his scoreless innings streak to 22 as he went 8.0 innings scattering four hits with 10 strike outs for Madison College. Klawiter is now 5-1 with a 1.36 ERA with 44 strike outs in 39.1 innings pitched on the season. BRADY JURGELLA went 9-for-17 with a double, triple and five runs scored. For the year, Jurgella is hitting .347.

TANNER KOHLHEPP went 4.0 innins with five strikeouts for Notre Dame in their weekend set vs. Florida State. On the season, Kohlhepp is 7-1 with a 2.72 ERA and 47 strike outs in 46.1 innings pitched.

ANDREW RAJKOVICH went 5-for-18 with a home run, six RBIs and five runs scored in UW-La Crosse’s weekend sweep of UW-Eau Claire. Rajkovich is hitting .344 on the season. SHANE COKER went 5-for-15 with six runs scored and five RBIs and has raised his season average to .352.

OTTO TREICHEL went 5-for-19 with five RBIs for UW-Eau Claire and TOM GINTHER turned in another strong outing going 5.0 innings allowing three hits and six strike outs.

QUINN BERGLIN went 5-for-13 with a home run for Lawrence Univ. The freshman is now hitting .342 with eight homers for the Vikings.

JACK WASHBURNΒ  threw 1.2 innings of scoreless baseball for Oregon State against California. Washburn now has a 2.89 ERA wth 37 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched.

MAX WAGNER doubled in two runs in his lone plate appearance for Clemson.

KADEN KRUEGER threw a 1-2-3 inning for Bradley while CONNOR MANTHEY went 3-for-9 with two runs scored and three RBIs for the Braves.

TYLER CHADWICK punched out three batters in an inning vs. Oklahoma.

JOE HAUSER threw two hitless innings with a strikeout for Arizona State at Cal.

BEN HAUSER threw 3.0 innings scattering three hits with no earned runs with four strikeouts for Air Force.

NICK HERBST went 5-for-18 with a double, RBI and three runs scored for Winona State. MITCHELL MUELLER threw 4.0 innings with three hits, one earned run and four strikeouts. Mueller now has 37 strikeouts in 25.2 innings pitched.

COLTON SHILD went 4-for-13 with two RBIs and two runs scored for Saint Louis. Schild is now batting .302 on the year for the Billikens.
