Week four of the college baseball season brought another strong stretch of performances from GRB Rays alumni competing across the country. From clutch hits at the plate to key innings on the mound, Rays players continued to make their presence felt for their college programs. Jake Schaffner continued to be a spark at the top of the lineup for North Carolina during the March 2–8 stretch, contributing key extra-base hits as the Tar Heels opened ACC play. Over the week, Schaffner totaled 3 hits in 12 at-bats, highlighted by an RBI triple against Virginia, while also drawing 2 walks and scoring 2 runs.
