As we get into the heart of the College Baseball season, Rays alums continue to post outstanding weekend at the plate and on the mound. Here are some highlights from former Rays players during the last week.

BRIGS RICHARTZ hit a go-ahead Grand Slam for St. Thomas in their Sunday win at Northern Colorado.

Madison College finished a 7-1 week, including a 6-game winning streak, with several Rays alums playing large parts in the streak. EDISON ALONSO had 11 hits, including a home run and 10 RBI. Alonso also scored 12 runs with three doubles. For the season, Alonso is hitting .459. NATE NOVINSKA had eight hits, including three home runs and 16 RBI. Novinska now has five home runs on the season.

QUINN FALSIH improved to 3-0 on the mound after going five innings on one-hit ball with two strike outs. Falish sports a .52 ERA on the year. JALEN GELLINGS improved his hitting streak to seven games after pounding out 11 hits on the week and raising his batting average to .321. NOAH MARSCHKE went six innings of one-hit ball with eight strikeouts.

UW-Lacrosse completed a four-game sweep of UW-Oshkosh over the weekend. CHAYCE OSTERHAUS went eight innings, allowing seven hits and striking out five. Osterhaus is now 4-0 with a 1.88 ERA. ANDREW RAJKOVICH belted two home runs to go along with six RBI. It was Rajkovich’s seventh homer of the season. ANTHONY VIVIAN hit two home runs, his 39th and 40th career homers. On the other side of the diamond, MASON KIRCHBERG hit two home runs for the Titans.

ELIJAH FRANK went 7-for-18 for UW-Whitewater in their sweep of UW-River Falls. Frank scored seven runs, and hit two home runs. DOMINIK McVAY hit two home runs, going 5-for-9 with six RBI. HUDSON TURNER went 3-for-3 for the Warhawks.

BRADEN SMITH struck out nine in seven innings, allowing two earned for Maryville.

QUINN BERGLIN earned his first start for Rutgers, going five innings to earn the win at Nebraska. Berglin scattered five hits and allowed two earned.

GABE ROESSLER went 6-for-14 with another home run for Milwaukee. Roessler drove in four over the weekend. Roessler now has eight homers on the year. JUSTIN HAUSSER had four hits and two RBI including a double and a triple.

NOAH WECH struck out three batters over two innings for Oklahoma State in their win against Kansas State.

CAL McGINNIS stayed hot, going 7-for-17 with a run, and RBI and a double for Evansville. For the season, McGinnis is batting .357.

MAX KALK went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI for Ball State. Kalk is hitting .435 (10-for-23) on the season.

JAKE SCHAFFNER had hits in all three North Dakota State games over the weekend. Schaffner extended his hitting streak to eight games. DAVIS HAMILTON had hits in all three games, including a double and a triple.

KEAGEN JIRSCHELE hit his first collegiate homer as part of three hits for South Dakota State.

LIAM MORENO had five hits, including his fifth homer of the season.

CARTER WAMBACH went 5-for-10 with a double, three walks for Drury. Wambach is now batting .311.

ASHTON MICHEK took a tough-luck loss for Augustana after allowing two earned in six innings. Michek struck out seven.
