Homers were the name of the game this past week in College Baseball for Rays alums. A total of eight former Rays hit 10 combined homers over the past week. Below are some highlights from the past week from Rays alums:

SCOTT SCHREIBER continued his hot start to the 2023 season for the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double A affiliate of the Houston Astros. Schreiber went 8-for-22 with a homer, double, three runs scored and three RBIs. Schreiber is now batting .387 on the year.

High A catcher for the Atlanta Braves DRAKE BALDWIN went 6-for-13 with two doubles, two runs, four RBIs and two walks. Baldwin is now hitting .333 and has a .520 on-base percentage.

KOLTON SCHALLER blasted his first-career homer for Kent State. Schaller is now batting .375 on the season and has 14 RBIs in 32 at bats.

ANTHONY VIVIAN stayed hot going 4-for-6 with a homer, six RBIs and four runs scored for UW-La Crosse in their DH vs. St. Olaf. Vivian is batting .388 with 10 homers on the year. Teammate and fellow Rays alum JACK OLVER also homered and went 6-for-10 with five RBIs.

MASON COYLE belted his third homer of the season for St. Mary’s (MN).

ANDREW SCHROEDER went 4-for-6 with two home runs and five RBIs for Marian in their DH vs. Illinois Tech. Schroeder is batting .339 on the season.

MASON KIRCHBERG homered twice over the weekend for UW-Oshkosh at UW-Stout. Kirchberg went 9-for-16 with a double, five runs scored and nine RBIs and is now up to six homers on the season.

STEPHEN LUND hit a homer for North Dakota State. Lund drove in two and has five homers on the season.

QUINN BERGLIN threw 9.0 innings, allowing a lone hit, earned run and struck out nine as Lawrence topped Illinois College.

MARCUS CLINE ponded out six hits for Milwaukee. Cline drove in five and had two doubles. JUSTIN HAUSSER had four hits, two doubles and three RBIs.

JOSH COTTRILL earned a three inning save for Valpo in their victory over Bradley.

MATTHEW DePREY went 6-for-18 with four runs scored for Xavier. DePrey is now batting .320 on the season for the Musketteers.

LUKE ROSS threw a scoreless inning with two strike outs for Miami (OH) against Northern Kentucky.

Madison College earned a couple of victories over the past week. GABE ROESSLER had five hits with three RBIs and is now hitting .363 on the year. NICK NOWAK went 3-for-7 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs and is hitting .375 on the season. TRACE KIRCHBERG went 7-for-12 with two doubles, a triple, two RBIs and six runs scored. NICK WEST threw two innings allowing no earned runs with three strike outs.

DAVIS ZEUTZUIS went 1.1 innings with three strike outs for Winona State, Zeuitzuis now has 19 strike outs in 15.1 innings while allowing only 10 hits.

ASHTON MICHEK went two scoreless innings with two strike outs for Augustana. Micheck now has a 2.93 ERA with 32 strike outs in 30.2 innings.
