Rays alums brought out the big bats in as homers were the name of the game in Week 4. Former Rays combined to hit six home runs over the past week. ALAN RODEN went 7-for-12 with two runs scored, four RBIs and a double for Creighton over the past week, including a 5-for-5 day on Sunday. Roden is now hitting .390 on the season for the Blue Jays.
Clemson sophomore 3B MAX WAGNER went deep twice over the weekend as the Tigers are now 14-1 on the year. Wagner went 6-for-12 with four RBIs and two doubles. Wagner is now hitting .405 for the year.
MATT DePREY homered for Xavier in their game against Coastal Carolina. DePrey now has two homers on the season.
JAKE BERG went deep for his first collegiate homer for Jacksonville. The Dolphins sophomore catcher went 4-for-13 with two runs acred and two RBIs.
Missouri State senior OF CAM CRATIC hit his first homer of the season against Arkansas State. Cratic went 3-for-4 on the weekend. Teammate DRAKE BALDWIN went 2-for-9 with an RBI and is now hitting .340 on the season.
STEPHEN LUND hit his second bomb of the season in Gonzagas’ trip to Long Beach State. Lund is up to two homer on the year.
RILEY FREY spun a gem for Milwaukee going 6.2 innings, allowing only three hits, no earned runs with eight strikeouts against Dayton. Frey now has 24 strikeouts in 21.2 innings on the season.
WILL SEMB made two appearances for Minnesota, throwing four total innings, scattering four hits, no runs and no walks while striking out eight. Semb now has 18 strikeouts in 11.1 innings pitched.
JACK WASHBURN started and threw three innings for Mississippi allowing three hits, an earned run with four strikeouts. Washburn now sports a 1.50 ERA and has 16 strikeouts in 12 innings pitched.
Four former Rays have helped Madison College to a 6-0 start on their Arizona swing. CAM DUPONT (.500 avg, 2 RBIs, 1 2B), BRADY JURGELLA (.444 avg, 1 2B, 1 HR, 4 RBIs), EDUARD SAUCEDO (.352 avg, 6 RBIs), GABE ROESSLER (.545 avg, 1 3B, 6 RBIs) all have helped the Wolf Pack to their best start in school history.
Texas Tech freshman OF OWEN WASHBURN went 3-for-12 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Washburn is now hitting .333 on the year.
REAGAN KLAWITER earned his first win of the season for Northern Illinois. The left-hander topped Ohio going 6.1 innings, scattering six hits while striking out five.
JOSH CARON went 0-for-2 for Nebraska, but walked twice and scored two runs for the Cornhuskers.
CONOR MANTHEY went 2-for-5 with two RBIs for Bradley in their series at South Florida.
SAM BEERS went 5-for-16 for Concordia, Wis. with four runs a double and an RBI over the weekend.
OTTO TREICHEL went 4-for-16 with two doubles, three RBIs and three walks as UW-Eau Claire opened up the 2022 campaign.
QUINN HENWOOD opened the season 4-for-8 with three runs scored, two doubles and RBI and four walks.
