2022 Week 11 Alumni Roundup

Rays alums went deep multiple times this past week as College Baseball is heading down the home stretch. Here are some highlights from Rays alums in Week 11. Be sure to head over the Rays Twitter account to vote for your Rays Alumni Player of the Week!

MAX WAGNER, coming off his National Player of the Week, picked up right where he left off. Wagner had two multi-homer games while going 13-for-20 at the plate. The Clemson sophomore third baseman hit four homers, two doubles, drove in 13 runs and scored 11 times. Wagner is now hitting .403 on the season and has 21 home runs.

Creighton sophomore first baseman ALAN RODEN extended his hitting streak to 17 games after going 5-for-14 with two doubles at Xavier.

WALKER JENKINS continues to swing one of the hottest bats in the Missouri Valley Conference. Jenkins homered in back-to-back games for Missouri State at Indiana State. The senior shortstop is now hitting .330 on the year with four homers. Teammate and fellow Rays alum DRAKE BALDWIN hit a grand slam for his eighth homer of the season. Baldwin also walked seven times and scored eight runs.

CONNOR MANTHEY (4th of the season) and CAL McGINNIS (2nd of the season) both homered for Bradley in their weekend series at Evansville.

JACK OLVER went 12-for-22 with a homer, two doubles, drove in five runs for UW-La Crosse. Olver is now hitting .450 with four homers on the season.

MASON KIRCHBERG hit his first collegiate home run for UW-Oshkosh.

OWEN WASHBURN hot an opposite-field home run for Texas Tech at Baylor. The Red Raider freshman now has six home runs on the year.

RYAN VENNE went deep twice and teammate OTTO TREICHEL also went yard for UW-Eau Claire. Venne now is batting 411 with five homers on the season.

Xavier left hander TREVOR OLSON threw 1.2 innings, striking out all four batters face against Creighton.

AUSTIN WAGNER earned the win for Univ. of Mary after going seven innings. scattering three hits with five strikeouts.

QUINN BERGLIN earned the win on the mound for Lawrence going six innings, allowing only two hits with six strikeouts against Knox.

CAL NOWAK went 5-for-15 with a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored for Lindenwood.

BRADY JUREGELLA and GABE REOSSLER helped Madison College extend their record to 34-6. Jurgella went 8-for-23 wtih six RBIs and. now has a 15-game hitting streak. Roessler also went 8-for-23 and is now hitting .389 on the season.
